The W Network TV show The Shopping Bags conducted a product review on household blinds. They tested four different types of horizontal blinds including wood, faux wood, aluminum and vinyl products. Each type of blind was judged on privacy, ability to keep out light and the degree of warping with heat. Overall they recommended the real wood blinds due to their ability to block out light.
