Anmut Dishes from Villeroy & Boch
After an exhausting search for dishes, we found the perfect ones at Villeroy & Boch called Anmut. We wanted white dishes that could work for both formal and informal use. They had to have a neutral design, nice shapes and be dishwasher friendly. For the plates we wanted a thick rim, like the restaurants. For the bowls we wanted a soup style with a rim and a deeper cereal type bowl.

Anmut from Villeroy & Boch turned out to be the best match. The dishes are made of bone china which makes them sturdy but still elegant feeling. They’re a bit on the expensive side but we plan on using them a long time. We ended up getting 12 dinner plates, 12 salad plates, 12 bread & butter plates, 12 salad dishes (they’re really bowls), and 6 ice cream bowls. So far we have been very happy with our choice! I would highly recommend checking them out, especially if you’re registering for your wedding (Villeroy & Boch staff were wonderful to work with).
